Do not know how you ended up on the first page of our blog, it is either
because you know us and are curious about us or some right words landed you here;
anyhow we welcome you to the world of Otherhalf ! This first post
is just a short short introduction about us, our art world & why this blog?
Otherhalf is a partnership between 2 uniquely different artists,
a photographer & watercolourist duo. Together, we are currently realising our
dreams as visual artists with a passion to transform spaces into immersive
art experiences; we fill the gaps for one another to elevate our creative works beyond
our individual capabilities. We are an example of good things do come in pairs!
The motivation behind our art is always to bring out the inner child
in everyone; as adults we are ever so often stressed out by work and life we
tend to take the little happiness in life for granted. We hope that
through our art, we will be able to inspire our audiences and offer them
a form of escapism. Life is not always about being serious and rigid.
We want to make you feel like you are the Alice in Wonderland!
Why blog? 102836 reasons but we are just going to list that few important points.
Other than sharing our art journey with everyone, we really hope to
inspire other creatives and anyone like-minded that your art dream is always
possible if you believe in it. We both did not start our career in the arts;
more like we just woke up one day deciding we should finally do something
we are really passionate for. Just like Confucius said, 'Choose a job you love,
and you will never have to work a day in your life'. Here we will try to share
as much of our know-hows in our art world & the things that often inspire us.
