This was the first exhibition for OH!Studio and has served as an important milestone in its’ current journey. The debut exhibition consisted of illustrations and photography inspired by and linking back to centuries old heritage of the Peranakan Chinese, more commonly known as the Baba Nyonyas. From Nyonya portrait illustrations, to pictures of lanterns and distant rooftops, the hall brought back to life the culture and tradition of the Baba Nyonyas that is now less exposed in the current society.
